Changelog - July 2026

  • Returns and Exchanges

Customize the return button label in the claim type selection flow

Set a custom label for the return button in the Allow Claim Type Selection automation. Defaults to "Return" if left blank.

When you use the Allow Claim Type Selection automation to let customers choose between a return and a warranty, you can now set a custom label for the return button. By default the button reads "Return", but you can change it to any text that fits your brand or program name — for example, "Exchange" or "Start a Return".

  • Shipping & Delivery

Enter shipment weight in pounds or ounces when creating a return label

When creating a return shipment label from a claim, you can now choose whether to enter the package weight in ounces or pounds. A unit selector sits next to the weight field and defaults to pounds for packages at or above one pound, making it easier to enter accurate weights for heavier items.

  • Shipping & Delivery

Control which carriers are available in the Customer Portal vs. the Merchant Admin

Set different allowed carriers for the Customer Portal and Merchant Admin in your Vesyl or EasyPost shipping provider settings.

You can now configure separate carrier lists for label generation depending on where the shipment is created. The shipping provider settings page for Vesyl and EasyPost shows two multi-select fields: Customer Portal Allowed Carriers and Merchant Admin Allowed Carriers. Set each one independently to control which carriers appear in each context.

A Refresh Carriers button also lets you re-sync your carrier accounts from the provider at any time, so newly added or renamed carriers show up without needing to reconnect your integration.

  • Customer Service

Filter replacement products by fulfillment location when processing a claim

Filter products by fulfillment location when choosing a replacement in a claim. Inventory counts shown per location are informational only.

When selecting a replacement product while processing a claim, you can now filter the product search by a specific fulfillment location. Choosing a location shows you the inventory count available at that location for each variant, so you can pick a replacement you know is in stock nearby.

The inventory count shown is for reference only. Shopify's order routing rules still determine where the replacement order ships from.

  • Returns and Exchanges

Restrict out-of-stock claim finalization to specific fulfillment locations

Scope the Configure Out of Stock rule to specific fulfillment locations. Claims only finalize when inventory is available at an allowed location.

You can now limit claim finalization to only proceed when inventory is available at specific fulfillment locations. In the Configure Out of Stock automation rule, select one or more locations under Allowed Fulfillment Locations. If no locations are selected, Corso will allow any location as before.

The Failure to Finalize Notification Emails field has been removed from this automation rule.
