Corso Intelligence

The intelligence layer behind every Corso product.

AI that detects fraud, recommends exchanges, and answers questions about your data. Analytics across every post-purchase program. An automation engine that turns your policies into rules, no code required. One data layer, working everywhere.

AI

Five AI systems. One platform.

These are all deployed systems, each doing real work across the post-purchase experience. Our AI actually works, and actually improves the post-purchase experience for you and your customers.

Sidekick — Your post-purchase AI assistant

Sidekick is a conversational AI wired to all of Corso’s documentation and your own data. Ask how to configure a return policy and get step-by-step guidance with links, or ask for last month’s return rate and get the number. Sidekick remembers the whole thread, so follow-ups refine the conversation and output instead of restarting everything.

Fraud Detection

Claim Risk

Fraud scoring across the network

Corso implements a multi-signal system that scores every claim across seven factors, from email patterns spanning all Corso merchants to device fingerprinting, media reuse, and bot detection. Low, Medium, and High levels with critical escalation for the worst signals, running automatically on every claim.

AI Receipt Processing

Smart Registrations

Scan a receipt, skip the data entry

Customers upload a proof of purchase and AI extracts their details and purchased items, matching them to catalog products with confidence scoring. High-confidence matches display as the top suggestion; low-confidence ones let the customer verify manually. Registration becomes scan-and-confirm, not typing from scratch.

AI Variant Selection

Exchange Recommendations

The right exchange, pre-selected

When a customer starts a return, AI weighs the return reason, the original variant, and store-wide historical exchange patterns to pre-select the best exchange. A “Picked just for you” indicator marks the suggestion, and acceptance rates are tracked so the system keeps learning.

Experimentation

Corso Intelligence

A/B test the post-purchase moment

Test shipping rates, delivery promises, and protection presentation at checkout through Intelligems integration and test-group controls, so policy decisions are backed by data instead of guesswork.

Real systems, real help. Each one runs in production today, from Sidekick's reporting to Claim Risk's escalation logic.

Analytics

Every post-purchase number, in one place.

Returns, warranties, registrations, shipping protection, and the financial impact of every claim — measured in one platform, not five disconnected tools.

Corso warranty dashboard with claim volume, requests over time, claims by status, and requests by type
The warranty dashboard, one of 11+ panels

Behind that view sits 11+ panels spanning every program: operations cycle times, return rates by product and variant, reason breakdowns, inspection grades, registration volume, and the financial detail of every claim. The depth is there when you need it, and the full tour lives on the Analytics & Reporting page.

What matters day to day is how the numbers reach you. There are multiple ways to get at the data depending on whether you want to browse it, get it automatically, or just ask for it.

Dashboards

11+ panels

Multiple returns panels plus warranty, registration, and shipping protection views. Cycle times, return rates by product and variant, reason sunbursts, inspection grades, and claim-level financial drill-downs; the feedback loop for every policy decision.

Exportable reports

On a schedule

Saved filter views shared across the team, export templates with exactly the fields you want, and set schedules that deliver a CSV by email daily, weekly, or monthly. Finance (or whoever you want) gets the returns ledger every Monday morning without having to do anything.

Asking Corso AI

Conversational

Skip the navigation entirely. Ask Sidekick for any metric the platform tracks ("What was my return rate last month?") and get the answer in plain language, with follow-up questions that refine it. The dashboards and Sidekick read from the same data layer.

Built for the question you're actually asking. Line graphs, sunburst, word clouds, flat exportable tables, and scheduled exports for the rest.

Automations

Your policies, your rules. No code required.

One of the deepest automation engines a Shopify merchant can run. Every rule follows the same pattern, where conditions decide when it fires and actions decide what happens.

The engine

Conditions evaluate order details, customer info, product attributes, claim details, shipment events, and registration status, combined with AND/OR logic. Rules run by priority, which is reorderable by drag-and-drop. The Flow View organizes them by customer-journey event, so the whole policy reads visually.

And you never start from scratch: multiple pre-built templates, from "Charge Handling Fee for Refunds" to "Waive Fees on Defective Items" to "Offer Instant Exchanges to US Customers" give you starting points to customize with your own conditions.

What you can automate

Financial Controls

  • Charge return label or exchange shipping
  • Apply or waive fees, fixed or percentage
  • Set gift-card incentive bonuses
  • All conditional on order, customer, product, or claim

Workflow Decisions

  • Auto-finalize on shipment events or at creation
  • Route to manual review by value or risk
  • Tag claims and orders for downstream automation
  • Restock with conditional grading and out-of-stock rules

Customer Experience

  • Instant exchanges with Stripe pre-authorization
  • Shop Now storefront browsing with return credit
  • Eligibility windows per product or segment
  • Policy-enforcing questions and conditional fields

Order Editing

  • Cancellations and address updates
  • Quantity and shipping-method changes
  • Email updates and protection removal
  • Discount codes — each with its own rules

25+ rule types in all, including seven dedicated to order editing. Your operations team owns the policy, no engineering input needed.

The Platform Advantage

Connected by design.

Three pillars, not three tools bolted together. They share the same data layer and operate across every post-purchase feature.
