Gift Card Expiration and Setup Options

Corso now supports setting expiration dates for gift cards created using the Shopify Gift Card API. Brands can define a specific number of days for the expiration, which will appear in the Shopify gift card email and on the card itself. This update provides an easier, more reliable way to issue store credits or gift cards directly to customers. Within Corso, brands have two options for offering gift cards—creating a dedicated gift card product that generates gift card orders, or using the Shopify Gift Card API for automatic delivery and expiration control. The API method is recommended for its simplicity and reduced chance of setup errors.
